For the fourth consecutive year, KU has been named to the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll, the highest federal recognition a college or university can receive for its commitment to volunteering, service learning and civic engagement.

The Sports Skills and Fitness School is celebrating a milestone this year: 30 years of working with Lawrence-area youth. The summer camp offers kids the opportunity to learn tradtional and new sports, all while having fun and getting active.

The Princeton Review once again has included KU in its list of 'best value' universities. KU is the only university in Kansas on the list and was praised for its undergraduate research awards.

Leslie Tuttle, assistant professor of history, has earned a National Humanities Center Fellowship, one of the most prestigious awards available to humanities faculty. The $35,000 award will enable her to work on a book on historical ideas about dreaming.
